The Challenge
ISL had a functioning business but a website that was working against them. The design looked dated, page speeds were slow, and updating content required more effort than it should. Worst of all, visitors were leaving before taking action.
For a local service business, the website is the main lead engine. If someone searches "woning leegmaken Leuven" and lands on a page that doesn't build trust fast, they bounce to a competitor. ISL needed a site that matched the quality of the service they actually deliver.
Main challenges:
- outdated design that didn't reflect the professionalism of the business
- slow load times hurting both user experience and search rankings
- content management was frustrating and time-consuming
- visitors dropped off before reaching the quote request form
- no structured approach to services, locations, or SEO
Strategy Overview
We treated this as a conversion redesign, not a visual refresh. Every design decision served one goal: get the visitor from landing to quote request with as little friction as possible.
The approach covered four areas:
- A conversion-first page structure that guides visitors to action
- Dedicated service pages for each offering
- Location and regional pages for local SEO coverage
- A Webflow build the team can manage without developer support
1. Conversion-First Page Structure
The homepage follows a deliberate flow. Above the fold makes the promise clear: professional property clearance in Leuven, Hasselt, and Mechelen. One primary CTA, "Vraag een offerte aan", visible immediately and reinforced throughout the page.
Below that, a trust-building sequence: the value proposition, key service benefits, and a four-step "Zo werken we" section that shows visitors exactly what happens after they reach out. This lowers perceived effort and removes uncertainty, two of the biggest barriers for first-time visitors in this space.
Social proof sits right where it matters. A 4.9/5 rating with real customer reviews, placed near the CTA so hesitant visitors see proof right when they're deciding.
2. Dedicated Service Pages
ISL offers multiple services: house clearance, apartment clearance, office clearance, furniture buyback, and more. Instead of cramming everything onto one page, we built dedicated pages for each service.
This serves two purposes. Visitors land on a page that speaks directly to their situation. And each page targets specific search terms, giving ISL more surface area in Google for the queries that matter.
3. Location and Regional Pages
Local search is where ISL wins or loses leads. We built dedicated pages for each core region, Leuven, Hasselt, and Mechelen, plus subpages for surrounding municipalities like Genk, Sint-Truiden, Kortenberg, Bonheiden, and others.
Each regional page is structured for local relevance, helping ISL show up when someone searches for property clearance in their specific area. This isn't thin content. Each page is built to serve a real visitor looking for a local provider.
4. Webflow for Independence
The entire site was built in Webflow, giving the ISL team full control over content updates without needing developer support. Adding a new regional page, updating a service description, or swapping images can all happen without a single line of code.
This matters for a growing business. When ISL expands to a new region, they can move fast without waiting on a dev cycle.
The Results
ISL went from a website that was losing leads to one that actively generates them.
